Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshore Precinct Community Building
Designed by King + Campbell Architects, the community building’s design is centered around the goal of becoming the central community gathering place across the Coffs Harbour Foreshore Precinct.
After studying the existing site connections, level changes and competing user group requirements, King + Campbell’s architectural vision is for the built form to seamlessly integrate with the surrounding natural and parkland context in creation of a vibrant and thriving foreshore precinct for the benefit of Coffs Harbour visitors and residents.
The design’s structure is reflective of local character and lifestyle whilst paying homage to the site’s important environmental, Indigenous and maritime roots.
Installed in the ceiling around the outside of the building, DecorLux features as a durable acoustic solution that seamlessly blends with DecorZen on the inside ceiling. The Smartlook timber-look finish complements the warm and natural colours of the surrounding environment.
Built as a community building, DecorLux and DecorZen will work together to absorb high levels of acoustic noise to create a pleasant experience for patrons.
