Westmead Hospital
HDR Rice Daubney developed the design for the triangular acoustic ceiling bays and Decor Systems were able to propose a cost-effective method of manufacturing these panels utilising a similar drill pattern to our Vogl Perforated Plasterboard that was specified in other parts of the facility. The Decor Systems R+D department assembled a custom prototype highlighting the integrated upturns with large radii to present to the client before proceeding with the rollout.
The prototypes met the brief precisely and were custom manufactured at a competitive price and delivered to the site for immediate installation.
Complementing the overall ambience of the project, the Vogl Plasterboard panels made a massive contribution to both the acoustic performance of the space and the overall ambience.
