Satellite Hospitals
The Satellite Hospitals Program (SHP) is the Queensland Government's commitment to deliver seven new facilities to support public healthcare delivery in rapidly growing communities across South East Queensland.
The Satellite Hospitals will offer various services based on the community's health needs. They will incorporate outpatient community-based healthcare services along with virtual healthcare opportunities.
Quotes attributable to the Minister for Health, Mental Health and Ambulance Services and Minister for Women Shannon Fentiman:
"The proof is in the numbers – satellite hospitals are treating thousands of Queenslanders quickly, efficiently and for free while taking pressure off our busy emergency departments. Satellite hospitals work. The significant drop in non-urgent presentations to emergency departments shows satellite hospitals are doing what they were intended to do."
This integrated approach will provide comprehensive care to patients, catering to their specific healthcare requirements. Decor Systems is proud to supply all seven sites with a blend of products to achieve style and acoustic excellence.
This government initiative required acoustic panels that met aesthetic and functional needs. Decor Systems worked closely with Fulton Trotter to provide the perfect blend of products to achieve a high NRC rating while providing a Group 1 fire rating. Using DecorZen, DecorStyle, Vogl and DecorLux, we could provide acoustic solutions internally and externally while creating a calming contemporary environment for alluring architectural design.
Due to each room and space's sizing and service requirements, every area required a unique panel, each shop-drawn and manufactured in our Sydney factory.
This project demonstrates the variety of possibilities with Decor Systems products and what can be achieved from close collaboration between designers and Decor Systems.
