Logan Hospital
Designed by BVN architects and constructed by John Holland, this new Logan Hospital building marks one of the largest-ever hospital expansions in Queensland. A staggering $1 billion-plus investment was dedicated to Stage 1 and Stage 2.

This project called for the addition of 206 beds and treatment spaces, a four-floor vertical expansion of building 3 and clinical support and operational service support areas to existing hospital buildings.
The expansion required acoustic panels that met aesthetic and functional needs. Style and Zen met all code requirements and were customised for each area of the project.
The BVN team worked very closely with our CAD Designer and project team to develop the bespoke panels. Due to each room and space's sizing and service requirements, every area required a unique panel, each being shop-drawn and manufactured in our Sydney factory.
Now completed, Logan Hospital has a focus on natural finishes to boost patient well-being and health.
Decor Systems worked with BVN to translate their floral artwork onto the style panels. This unique and custom process involved routing the artwork by a machine onto the panel in our Sydney warehouse.
The timber-look finishes were used across the style and zen panels, creating a seamless and coherent visual appeal from room to room. These laminates also help boost the feeling of naturality in an otherwise sterile environment. The natural finishes amplify the use of natural light to brighten and warm the spaces, ultimately enhancing patient well-being.
This project demonstrates the exceptional results possible from close collaboration between designers and Decor Systems. The finishes product speaks for itself.
