Green Square Library

A New Benchmark.

The Green Square Library is a project unlike any other. This visionary project was the winner of the World’s Best Library on completion in 2019 and it is easy to see why.

The surprising space consists of a public plaza and a primarily subterranean library space. The unique design of this brand new building changes the way you think about library spaces.

An impressive glass entry pyramid leads you down into the main library space. A huge open plan living room is filled with light from a central sunken garden, amphitheatre and large circular skylights. A striking 6-storey glass tower emerges above the plaza and lights up with dazzling colours at night.
