GPT Space & Co
The recently refurbished GPT Space & Co at Darling Park in Sydney is a new addition to the co-working and flexible office landscape. Designed by the acclaimed architectural firm Woods Bagot and constructed by FDC, this space embodies modern office design with a strong focus on flexibility, connectivity, and collaboration.
Located in Darling Park, the venue offers stunningly designed spaces that include private offices, meeting rooms, and event spaces to cater to various business needs. The design emphasises visual connection with the surrounding natural environment and fosters collaboration through shared workspaces.
The interior design elements, including bespoke finishes and high-end materials, reflect our unwavering commitment to quality and functionality. This ensures that our spaces are acoustically optimised and adaptable for various business activities, providing a high-quality and effective working environment for your team.
In open-plan co-working spaces, acoustics are critical in ensuring a productive and comfortable environment. Poor sound management can lead to distractions, stress, and reduced focus, especially in dynamic workplaces where people constantly collaborate and interact. Decor Systems supplied Vogl and DecoZen panels, aligning with the project’s aim to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and acoustically optimised workspaces.
These products are particularly well-suited for office environments. Vogl is a high-performance perforated plasterboard known for its easy install and sleek modern look. It is ideal for reducing noise in open-plan offices with an NRC rating of 0.85.
In co-working environments like GPT Space & Co, where collaboration and communication are essential, maintaining optimal acoustics prevents disruptions and ensures comfort. These systems are engineered for precise sound absorption, helping to manage the noise levels in shared workspaces, meeting rooms, and event areas, fostering a more productive atmosphere.
Also featured are our DecorZen panels, finished in a natural timber veneer of Tasmanian oak, which was selected not only for it’s natural beauty but also for being fully GECA certified, FSC® certified and eligible for Green Star points depending on the substrate and finish selected. DecorZen also has incredible acoustic properties, making it the perfect all-rounder for any space.
The natural timber veneer of Tasmanian oak adds warmth and a natural aesthetic to the interiors, creating a welcoming, calm environment. The timber’s biophilic design qualities enhance wellbeing and reduce stress in indoor environments, a valuable benefit for modern workplaces.
By integrating these acoustic and design solutions, GPT Space & Co ensures that its offices are visually striking and tailored to enhance the overall working experience.
