Baldivis Recreation Centre
The Baldivis District Sporting Complex, located in Baldivis, Western Australia, addresses the rising demand for sport and recreation facilities in the area.
Designed by Site Architecture, the 19.4 hectare complex features an Indoor Recreation Centre that serves as a centralised community hub. With its versatile design and thoughtful integration of spaces, the centre caters for a multitude of needs, and includes three indoor courts, a café, a nature play area, and skate park.
The multi-functional space allows for simultaneous use, accommodating various activities, which required acoustic separation.
DecorZen, in our SmartLook Hoop Pine finish covers 3000sqm of the sports hall ceiling, enhancing acoustics and durability.
Similarly, Vogl is used in the common areas, seamlessly integrating with other textures and finishes while providing both acoustic and visual appeal.
By incorporating DecorZen and Vogl, the complex achieves acoustic excellence and visual integration. This project stands as a testament to the importance of innovation in shaping community spaces for active and engaging lifestyles.
