Architects PTW Interior Architect Lauren Hotz came to Decor Systems with a reference image that sparked the conversation around the unique and playful colour scheme that is seen throughout this project
Decor Systems worked to find an acoustic solution that would perform from a sound management point of view, but that could also provide the aesthetic finish that was desired. Custom painted DecorLini in a specific Canary yellow was the ultimate solution fulfilling all the requirements.
The yellow panelling was painted to match the external eaves of the building and Decor Systems worked with Architects PTW and St Hillier’s Constructions to bring the project to life.
With our state-of-the-art machinery that runs planks and adds lines and tongue and groove in a sophisticated two-step process, we were able to meet the deadline efficiently despite the large quantity and custom nature of the order.
The DecorLini is GECA certified, and Group 2 fire rated, so it offers the ideal combination of acoustic performance, aesthetics, and compliance.
