Frenshams School Sports Hall
Frenshams School recently underwent a modernisation designed by TKD Architects. The Two-court Sports Hall will deliver timber-sprung floors, competition and standard-size netball/basketball courts, change rooms and amenities, a canteen kitchen, reception, and storage space.
Decor Systems was proud to provide acoustic solutions for this space with DecorZen Trend®. This perfect acoustic solution integrates seamlessly into large-scale classical, contemporary or high-tech architectural design.
Designed by TKD Architects and built by Novati Construction, the Decor system supplied Decor Trend, a popular product in the sports and recreation sector.
DecorZen Trend® is an acoustic panel system that offers flexibility in slot size and finish type, allowing you to control the finished look.
Crafted in our Sydney warehouse, the panels are finished with SmartLook washed oak and blanket white, and they were meticulously cut and assembled at the Sydney warehouse for convenient on-site installation.
DecorZen Trend® has a group 1 fire certificate, making it suitable for many applications.
Traditional or contemporary panels are an excellent choice. Slotted timber panels can be finished from classic timbers to modern metallics or polyurethane. We have the tech to create virtually any profile so your design can become reality.

The criteria for the acoustics in this project included a 0.70 NRC Rating, impact resistance to allow for panels to absorb 'knocks' in the sports hall, a tight construction schedule and budgetary requirements. The innovative team at Bollig Design in partnership with Decor Systems were able to fulfil all these requirements.
