The suspended DecorSlat Max Beams in the ceiling are an awe-inspiring spectacle. The white beams adorned with bespoke Victorian Ash moulded tips effortlessly juxtapose the steel elements present in the space, evoking a captivating contrast.

The DecorSlat Max beams were complimented by the DecorTrend acoustic panels finished in our Burnie Blackwood Smartlook finish.

When AMC Architecture approached Decor Systems with their rendered designs, a collaborative effort ensued to align the envisioned aesthetics with the manufacturing capabilities of Decor Systems. Through an iterative process, numerous concepts were workshopped to ensure the design intent was met.

Decor Systems faced a unique challenge in creating the bullnose solid timber Victorian Ash ends, which served as the focal point of the ceiling design. A series of samples and prototypes were meticulously developed and fine-tuned. Although the initial request called for a Blackbutt finish, market shortages and escalating prices necessitated a creative solution. Decor Systems uniquely crafted the timber slats by laminating multiple layers of Vic Ash timber, subsequently shaping them into their desired forms.

Parliament Constructions skilfully assembled the beams on-site, creating a bespoke steel frame support system for the beams. This collaborative effort ensured the seamless integration of these extraordinary architectural elements into the overall design scheme.
