Wilson Architects engaged Decor Systems to provide acoustic products to manage sound at the Pimlico TAFE campus in Townsville, Queensland.
DecorLux Max was used extensively throughout the common areas to create an environment that supports learning and collaboration.
The $26M project aimed to help to revitalise the heart of the campus and according to Wilson Architects, "the concept was to create a sense of activity and engagement, which was previously lacking at Pimlico. The new building includes a learning hub and promotes collaboration and intercommunications between the students."
Vogl perforated plasterboard was also used in the project.
