Designed by Brooking Design, the brief for John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School (JSRACS) Senior Learning Centre project called for a substantial building that communicates its intended purpose of providing a facility for higher tertiary level learning for young adults.
It required an architecture that promotes a sense of community that is founded on principles of flexibility, nurturing, school community and life-long learning.
The design solution is a finely crafted one that engages and responds to site and context and provides interactive dynamic interior with open plan interaction, movement and circulation.
Decor Systems DecorArti acoustic walls were specified through out the class rooms, helping to improve sound quality to encourage learning. The bespoke design of the panels compliment the overall school interiors and provide unique aesthetics to the rooms.
The JSRACS building provides an outstanding educational facility to encourage high quality education within the area community.
