The Dayton Community Hall consists of a new community centre with a function hall, an activity room and meeting spaces.
The design allows multiple groups to use various parts of the building at the same time without disrupting or compromising the other central to this was the need for high performing acoustic panels. With an NRC of 0.8 required, Site Architecture consulted with Decor Systems to achieve this requirement.
DecorZen in a natural timber veneer was selected as it met both the acoustic and aesthetic requirements.
