Designed by Biscoe Wilson Architects, this new centre provides specialised spaces for dance, drama, music and film, bringing together a holistic concert of self-expression and art to support and enhance one-another.

Internally, the design provides flexibility for teaching and performing drama and dance. The stage area can be divided into separate teaching areas or opened with operable walls into a single large stage and seating area suitable for a 300-person audience.

Ceiling heights ranging from 7 to 10m provide opportunities for more dramatic spaces and proper theatre lighting. A front of house foyer with servery, amenities and outdoor foyer provides a welcoming entry and alternative function space.

GECA and FSC ® (FSC-C118724) certification was required on this Green Star project. Decor Systems was able to tick these boxes ensuring all sustainability and fire requirements were met.

Decor Systems worked closely with Hutchinson Builders and offered several cost-effective solutions on numerous products and their integration into the overall design schematics on this project.

The Decor Systems suite of acoustic panel solutions met the exciting brief to lessen reverberation whilst bringing a attractive finish within budget. Our concealed BJ2 concealed fixing system enables efficient removal of the panels for maintenance.

Open and clear communication between all parties and how the products integrated and were to be installed were key to the success of this project.
