Infinity Constructions proposed DecorEagle for the Bankstown Project after a successful previous installation of the product on the prestigious Ascham School. The traditional DecorEagle design was adjusted with the inclusion of a 50mm border around the perimeter. Using the benefit of a made to order product we were able to incorporate lights and services within the panels.
It was an entirely unique ceiling shape with no two bays the same and only curved edges to deal with. This made for a very challenging design and installation process.
In conjunction with the contractor, Dane Constructions we supplied firstly the custom bulkheads in a bolt-together arrangement for installation on site first. Then working from priority bays, Decor Systems worked closely with the installers in getting the drawings and fabrication done for the acoustic panel infills. Tight deadlines and working with only templates in some circumstances the team put together a ceiling that is nothing short of stunning! The ceiling adds warmth to the space and performs the acoustic task to perfection
