This Saturday, May 27th, is the IFI World Interiors Day!
The event is celebrated world wide and encourages the wide variety of individuals within the design community to explore creativity and innovation in relation to the role of interiors in society. The theme this year chosen by IFI (The International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers), is “Interior Design for Generations”.
The theme looks to highlight the inter-generational understanding needed to create a greater connection between the built environment, its occupants and time. Knowing that the average life expectancy is growing, interior professionals have a growing responsibility and challenge to create works that are lasting but that also serve a multiplex of individuals.
We look forward to the result of this event and the ideas formed from it!
