The ambitious renovation of Four Points by Sheraton in Darling Harbour is expected to turn the hotel into Sydney’s prime convention and accommodation venue. The renovation offers 3,700 square metres of meeting spaces and over 890 guest rooms on completion of the hotel’s third tower, and will make Four Points by Sheraton the biggest hotel in the Sydney’s CBD.
Designed by Bates Smart, the interior of the hotel was to provide a link between the significant sandstone heritage buildings, the spectacular water views of Darling Harbour, and create a contemporary, energised hospitality experience. The renovated interior of the hotel includes comprehensively the arrival lobby, restaurant and lobby bar and meeting and convention spaces.
Decor Systems was delighted to be a part of this significant and sophisticated project. We were the main supplier of the perforated ceiling installed throughout the convention spaces, and the in restaurant and lobby bar areas. Vogl, our acoustic plasterboard panels, were specified to enhance the smart sophisticated designs, at the same time improve sound quality to ensure an acoustic ambience in these spaces.
