We have just returned from a very useful couple of days at the BAU exhibition in Munich.
For those who don’t know, BAU is the world’s leading trade fair for building architecture, materials and systems. This year, the presentation space spanned over 25 football fields, so trust us when we say we got our exercise in while checking out the latest developments in design and construction!!

Visitor numbers matched the record set in 2011 – at over 235,000. The view among visitors and exhibitors alike was that the quality of BAU this year had improved still further, both as regards booth design and product presentation, and the quality of the trade visitors. And this year again, BAU lived up in full to its reputation as an “architects’ fair”. Once more around 50,000 of the visitors came from architectural and planning offices. BAU, the World´s Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials, Systems, is more international, classier and even more professional than ever before. That, in a nutshell, is the impression gained after a successful visit to this days at this No. 1 expo with packed exhibition halls and delighted exhibitors and visitors.
For the first time, more than 60,000 visitors came from abroad.Leading visiting architects like Daniel Libeskind and Christoph Ingenhoven underline the status of BAU as the world´s leading gathering of architects.
In the coming months we will be releasing new and innovative systems to our range as a result of networking with major European manufacturers.
