Once your project goes to tender, we give it a dedicated Project Certificate Number, where all relevant parties receive a certificate upon installation that confirms the products are genuine Decor as specified. This avoids cheaper alternatives that do not meet Green Star, acoustic, and other requirements. Budgets followed, deadlines met, and awards won, with Decor.
Decor Systems Australia has made a commitment to provide Australian building professionals with the resources and knowledge needed to succeed. As part of that commitment, we have implemented a series of CPD’s and in-house presentations that provide a valuable opportunity for architects, designers and building contractors to continue their professional development.
Some of the topics covered in this informative presentation include:
All of these questions and more will be answered in Decor Systems presentation about designing for a better acoustic environment. You will also accumulate 1 CPD point for each hour of the presentation.
Call us on 1800 835 035 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book an appointment with us learning about designing for a better acoustic environment. We will show you the paths to design not only with your eyes, but also with your ears!
Yes. Panels can be manufactured to your specified size, thickness, perforation pattern, border dimension, finish, veneer, substrate etc.
No, except for our SmartLook range which has a minimum order of 10 panels.
Decor Systems can manufacture your panels to meet the specific code according to AS 3837, Group 1, 2 or 3.
All projects have to achieve a designated fire rating, whether it is a basic Group 3 or more fire resistant Group 1. These fire ratings are determined by government regulations and the type of building; these should be checked with your engineers.
Once the correct fire rating is determined, you need to specify a conforming product to achieve the correct group rating. This is where Decor Systems comes in to assist.
Decor Systems Acoustic Panels are manufactured from sustainable sources. Our environmental accreditations ensure that all substrates and finishes are sourced from legitimate, ethical origins.
Our accreditation from the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) offers you the assurance that our products are subjected to stringent environmental requirements.

Under normal conditions, Decor Systems Acoustic Panels should last as long as the life expectancy of the building, subject to recommended cleaning and maintenance.
Decor Systems Acoustic Panels should be stored flat, off the ground. Panels with a timber substrate should be allowed to acclimatise for 3-5 days before installation. They should be kept clean and dry at all times.
Decor Systems Acoustic Panels will be delivered to site on pallets, with protective packaging to all sides of the pack.
Before installing timber panels, you need to allow the wood to acclimatise to the surrounding environment, so as to reduce the amount of movement in the panels and reach the Equilibrium Moisture Content.
Timber is hydroscopic, which means that moisture moves in and out of the wood depending on the building’s relative humidity. The key is to acclimatise the panels to the surrounding environment, providing a stable wood ceiling or wall lining, with limited movement.
The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) measures how much sound a given material will absorb. This is usually applied to structural materials and room finishes. Materials with a low NRC value, like tiles, will not absorb sound as readily as those with a higher NRC, like carpet.
FSC chain of custody certification verifies FSC certified forest products through the production chain. FSC chain of custody (CoC) certification is for companies that manufacture, process or trade in timber or non-timber forest products and want to demonstrate to their customers that they use responsibly produced raw materials. FSC chain of custody helps companies to strengthen their sourcing policies and comply with public or private procurement policies where FSC is the preferred option.
Chain of custody (CoC) certification provides a guarantee about the production and source of FSC-certified products. The main objective of CoC certification is to ensure that material from FSC certified forests is tracked through the production and distribution process. CoC certification applies to manufacturers and others who process, transform or trade forest products.
